Stamping process can be roughly divided into two categories: separation process and forming process (bending, drawing, forming).The separation process is to separate the stamping parts and blank along a certain contour, and the quality of the separate section of the stamping parts should also meet certain requirements.The forming process is to produce plastic deformation of the stamping blank without damage, and to transform it into the required shape of the finished product, and to meet the requirements of dimensional tolerance.The following is a brief introduction of yida borun petrochemical which factors will affect the quality of stamping parts:
1.the impact of stamping process on the quality of the workpiece
According to the stamping temperature there are cold stamping and hot stamping two ways.This depends on the strength, plasticity, thickness, degree of deformation and equipment capacity of the material, and the original heat treatment state and final service conditions of the material should be considered.
(1) cold stamping metal processing at room temperature, generally applicable to the thickness of less than 4mm blank.The advantages are no heating, no scale, good surface quality, easy to operate and low cost.The disadvantage is that there is work hardening phenomenon, serious metal loss further deformation ability.Cold stamping blank thickness uniformity and small fluctuation range, surface smooth, no spots, no scratches, etc.
(2) hot stamping: the process of heating metal to a certain temperature range.The advantage is to eliminate the internal stress, avoid the work hardening, increase the plasticity of the material, reduce the deformation resistance, reduce the power consumption of the equipment.
2.the impact of stamping materials on the quality of the workpiece
There are three main stamping process: blanking, bending, stretching, different processes have different requirements on the plate, material selection should also be based on the general shape of the product and processing technology to consider the choice of plate.
(1) impact of material hedging on cutting and processing
Sheet metal should be plastic enough to avoid cracking during blanking.After blanking soft materials, the parts with smooth section and small inclination can be obtained.The section irregularity of hard materials is large after blanking, especially for heavy plate materials.
(2) influence of materials on bending processing
Sheet metal that needs to be bent should have sufficient plasticity and low yield limit.High plastic plate, not easy to crack when bending;The sheet material with lower yield limit and lower elastic modulus has less springback after bending.Brittleness of the material, bending must have a large relative bending radius, otherwise in the bending process easy to crack.
(3) influence of materials on deep drawing processing
The drawing process of the plate not only requires the depth of drawing as small as possible, shape as simple as possible, smooth transition, but also requires the material to have a good plasticity, otherwise it is very easy to cause the parts of the whole distortion, local wrinkle, and even tensile parts crack.
